We are not just a fair trade shop. While we absolutely love selling intentionally made goods that make good stories possible all around the world, we also want to invite people to a different way of doing life - slowing down, choosing people over more stuff, shopping consciously even when not shopping with made. It is a journey and we as a team want to stay open to growing and doing better in our personal lives as we invite our customers to do the same. Can you tell us about one way you are growing in this area?

We are in the business of providing employment to people around the world who often have limited access to good and fair work, otherwise. Among many other things, this leads to the reduction of vulnerability to human trafficking. We are equally committed as a business to supporting freedom for those in our city and do this first and foremost by being aware and educated. We are an "On-Watch" business which means that every employee has been trained in the signs of human trafficking and is able to be on watch at our shop, events, and beyond. Do you agree to walking through "On-Watch" training and certification while being trained to work for made?
